Welcome to Upton Dramatic Society
Upton dramatic society was founded in 1934, performing in Upton Village Hall, Upton, near Chester and occasionally at other venues.
The society actively encourages new members to join in whatever your background no previous acting experience is necessary, and members come from all walks of life.
We aim to offer a wide range of amateur theatre productions, from modern comedy to whodunits.
We normally put on two productions each year. ( December then March)
We aim to put on productions which give as many members as possible an opportunity to act,
but if you don't get a part we'll have something else for you to get involved in.
Or maybe you would like to try the technical side of running an amateur dramatic production, such as lighting, stage management or props.
Check our Future productions page for information on upcoming auditions, productions and other events!
You can look at past productions.
This site is dedicated to recording as much material as possible about productions performed by Upton Dramatic Society.
We are indebted to those members who have collected together the media and information to put onto this site.
We hope that by keeping it as simple as possible, the information can be accessed quickly.
As most of the information is in picture form, we have generated thumbnail's to give you an idea of what you are looking at, to see the full size picture just click on the image.

As a band of happy amateurs we are glad to be providing a meeting place for like minded folk, through our productions we raise money for local institutions and charities.
